Buie, Wallace

Larry and Nelda Buie of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Leigh Ann, to James Kirk Wallace, son of George and Patsy Wallace of Brookhaven.
The wedding will be Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at sunset in Sydney, Australia.
Miss Buie is the granddaughter of Merle Woodrick and the late C.W. Woodrick and Maudine Buie and the late Jack Buie, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and received an associate's degree in horticulture from Meridian Community College. She works and lives in Asheville, N.C.
Mr. Wallace is the grandson of Pat Grimmette of Little Rock, Ark.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Brookhaven High School and received a bachelor's degree from Millsaps College. He works and lives in Asheville.
