Peavey sponsors fall music tour

Peavey Electronics Corp. plans to sponsor the fall 2004 Jgermeister Music Tour an event the company has sponsored since spring 2003.
The tour begins on Oct. 29 in Springfield, Mo., and ends Dec. 17 in Los Angeles. Slayer, Killswitch Engage and Mastodon will perform on the full tour, with regional Jgermeister-sponsored bands opening the shows.
Peavey will give away one fully customized Peavey/Jgermeister Triple XXX guitar amplifier stack during the tour and one customized Rage guitar amp at each show.
Peavey also will help promote up-and-coming talent by providing backline to the Jgermeister Band Program, which selects a local act in each town to open the show.
Provided equipment includes a Triple XXX custom stack, Pro 500* bass amp head, MAX bass preamp, GPS 1500 power amp, 5150 II guitar amp head, 5150 enclosures Pro 810 bass enclosures and Feedback Ferret and KOSMOS audio processors.
