Briggs, Richardson

Debbie Weir, and William and Liz Briggs, all of Meridian, announce the engagement of their daughter, Dana Michelle Briggs, to Robert Michael Richardson, son of Sandra Richardson of Meridian and the late Robert "Bob" Richardson. Miss Briggs is also the daughter of the late George W. Weir.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at 5 p.m. at State Boulevard Baptist Church.
Miss Briggs is the granddaughter of Ray and Norma Johnson of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Meridian High School and received a degree in cosmetology in 2004 from Meridian Community College.
Miss Briggs is employed at Short Kutz and Ultimate Tan.
Mr. Richardson is the grandson of Eva Jones of Meridian and the late H.W. "Red" Jones.
The bridegroom-elect is a 1996 graduate of Meridian High School and a June 2004 graduate of the IBEW Apprenticeship Training.
Mr. Richardson is employed by Woodall Electric.
A reception will be held at Union Station following the ceremony.
