Speck, Walker

Mr. and Mrs. Richard David Speck of Gulfport announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Elizabeth, to Jason Glaze Walker of Gulfport, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Eugene Walker of Newton.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at Bayou View Baptist Church in Gulfport.
Miss Speck is the granddaughter of Myrtis J. Trehern and the late Paul B. Trehern and Mr. and Mrs. Harrison C. Speck, all of Gulfport.
The bride-elect, a 1994 graduate of Gulfport High School, received a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology in 1998 and a master's degree in sports administration from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1999. She received a second bachelor's degree in dietetics and nutrition from the University of Mississippi in 2002.
While attending USM, she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority.
Miss Speck is owner of Specktator's Fitness and Nutrition, Inc. in Gulfport.
Mr. Walker is the grandson of the late Herschel Glaze and Mary Lee Glaze of Newton and the late Mack Henry Walker and Geneva Walker of Hickory.
The bridegroom-elect, a 1993 graduate of Newton High School, received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mississippi State University in 1998 and a master's of business administration degree from William Carey College in 2002.
Mr. Walker is an assistant vice president and commercial loan officer at First Bank and Trust.
A reception will be held in the Crystal Ballroom at Treasure Bay Resort following the ceremony.
