Heather Kemp and Robert Aaron Hale of Meridian were married Saturday, July 10, 2004, at First Christian Church, Meridian, with the Rev. Dr. Tom Sikes officiating.
Parents of the couple are Syble McAdory Kemp and Randy Joe Kemp and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wayne Hale, all of Meridian.
Mrs. Hale is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle McAdory and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hosea Kemp, all of Noxapater.
Mr. Hale is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Gray and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hale, all of Gadsden, Ala.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a silk ivory chemise gown with a European illusion overlay. The overlay featured an appliqued design outlined with metallic golden thread and sequins. She wore a veil of silk illusion.
Flower girl was the bride's niece, Sara Katherine Kemp, and ring bearer was the bridegroom's nephew, Tyler Bobby Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Hale, a graduate of Lamar High School, received an associate's degree in fashion design from the Art Institute of Dallas and a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University. She is pursuing a master's degree in elementary education. She is employed at Northeast Middle School.
Mr. Hale, a graduate of Clarkdale Attendance Center, received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mississippi State University. He is employed as a food consultant with Sysco Food Services of Jackson.
After a honeymoon in the Fijian Islands in the South Pacific, the couple resides in Meridian.
