Services for Eloise Thompson Fagan will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Jimmy Harrison and Jason Harms officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Fagan, 75, of Meridian, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, in her home. She was an active member of the Central United Methodist Church, the Bob Matheny Sunday School class, XYZ and she was a volunteer at Aldersgate Retirement Community.
Survivors include her daughter, JoAnn Cairns of Meridian; two grandchildren, Christy Mays of Little Rock, Ark. and Terry Sanders of New Mexico; three great-grandchildren, Mandy Grey and Jeffrey Mays, both of Little Rock, and April Mays of Ohio; a sister, Louise Mathis of Forest Park, Ga.; brothers, Harold B. Thompson and his wife, Eliese, of Meridian, Sam L. Thompson and his wife, Maxine, of Brandon, and William E. Thompson and his wife, Margaret, of Meridian; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Amos Rhodes and Dr. Thomas Fagan.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Jack D. Smith will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Tommy Jones and Davy Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park.
Mr. Smith, 77, of Meridian, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 21 years of service. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and he was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. He retired from the Chevron Oil Co. He was a member of West Kemper Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Smith of Meridian; children, Mary S. Harper and her husband, John, and Jack D. Smith Jr. and his wife, Dana; step-children, Barbara Staniscavage and her husband, Terry, all of Meridian, Mike Hardy and his wife, Martha, of DeKalb, and Lynn Fontan and her husband, Joe, of Causeyville; six grandchildren, Mikie Chaney, Christy Harper, Bryan Smith, Haley Smith, April Harper and Ben Smith; six step-grandchildren, Carol Mowdy, Tammy Kirkland, Jason Fontan, Brad Hardy, Travis Hardy and Angela Young; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Smith; a daughter, Faye Chaney; and a son, Ray P. Smith.
Pallbearers will be the Navy Honor Guard.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be held today from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Joyce Ward will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hayes Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. Roger Laird officiating. Burial will be in Ocobla Cemetery.
Mrs. Ward, 86, of Little Rock, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Knochenmuss of Little Rock; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home, and on Monday from 8 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
MOBILE, Ala. Services for Ruth Hughes Danley will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
Mrs. Danley, 95, of Mobile, formerly of Meridian, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at Mercy Medical Hospital. She was a former member of East Side United Methodist Church in Meridian, St. Francis Street United Methodist Church in Mobile and First United Methodist Church in Birmingham. She was a member of West Side United Methodist Church in Mobile. She graduated from the first class of Murphy High School in 1926. She was a member of the Women's Club and the Mobile Garden Club. She lived in Emogene Place in Mobile for 40 years. She was employed at the Highway Department of Road and Revenue Commission and Brookley Air Force Base.
Survivors include a nephew, Robert Paul Miller of Mobile; a niece, Norma Evers Sikes of Andalusia; seven first cousins; nine great-nephews; 11 great-nieces; two great-great nephews; and four great-great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin B. Danley; her parents, Edgar Clifton Hughes and Josie Gardner Hughes; her only sister, Oree Hughes Miller and her husband, Earle; a nephew, Earl LaPrade Miller Jr., two nieces, Mary Jo Miller Perry and Dorothy "Dot" Wenzel Snider; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Dannelley Orr and Margaret "Maggie" Dannelley Marshall and Beverly Smith Griffin.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
