Thrailkill wins Moonlight Run

Mike Thrailkill may have been the most disappointed winner in the three-year history of the Moonlight Run.
The Decatur resident clocked in at 17:01 in the 5K (3.2 miles) run, just a hair off his goal of breaking 17 minutes.
Thrailkill was followed by Rob Oates, who finished in second, and Cameron Sherrill in third.
Nearly 200 runners competed in the race, with about 75 participants entering the competition as walk-ups. In last year's race, 138 runners made up the field.
Quince said the time of the race Friday's event started at 10 p.m. has contributed to its success.
The night also included a two-mile walk and one-mile fun run.
