Peavey Electronics nominated for industry awards

The Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio has honored Peavey Electronics Corporation, headquartered in Meridian, with two Technical Excellence &Creativity Award nominations.
The Architectural Acoustics ICS 4200 is nominated for Outstanding Technical Achievement in Amplifier Technology. The Crest Audio HP-Eight is nominated for Outstanding Technical Achievement in Sound Reinforcement Console Technology.
Both the Architectural Acoustics and Crest Audio brands are members of the Peavey family, which also includes MediaMatrix and PVDJ.
Founded in 1985, the TEC Awards are the foremost program recognizing the achievements of audio professionals and honoring the people, companies and technical innovations behind the sound of recordings, films, television shows and live performances.
TEC Awards nominations are made by a panel of industry professionals and voted upon by the subscribers of Mix, a leading trade magazine of the recording and sound production industry.
The 20th Annual TEC Awards will be Oct. 30 in San Francisco.
Peavey Electronics Corporation is one of the largest manufacturers of musical instruments and professional sound equipment in the world. Peavey holds more than 130 patents and produces more than 2,000 products, which are distributed throughout the United States and to 136 other countries.
