Chuck Nicholson, chief executive officer and chairman of the board of Community Bank, named Jeff McCoy the bank's president and chief operating officer on Monday.
Nicholson also named Shaun Eubanks executive vice president.
Nicholson, who formerly held the title of president, said he will stay on as chief executive officer and president of the board. He said McCoy will handle the day-to-day operations of the bank.
Nicholson said the move is not unusual and was intended to lessen the management burden of the bank's administrators.
Community Bank opened on 22nd Avenue in 1999; it recently opened a second location on Highway 39 North. The bank has 30 staff members and more than $125 million in assets.
McCoy began working at Community Bank in 2002. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University and the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking.
He is a member of the Kiwanis Club and serves on the executive board of the East Mississippi Development Corp. Lauderdale County's chief economic development agency.
He is married to Ethel Ann McCoy, and they have two children, Kyle and Leah.
Eubanks joined Community Bank in 2000 as a commercial lending officer. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University and the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking.
Eubanks is a member of the Downtown Optimist Club. He is married to Kim Eubanks, and they have two children, Erin and Ethan.
Nicholson said McCoy and Eubanks have strong administrative skills.
