Part of Eighth Street closed

Because of equipment and materials being used in the next phase of construction of the parking garage, the right, eastbound lane of Eighth Street will be closed to vehicles for up to two weeks. Barricades will be placed in the street.
The parking garage is on Eighth Street between 23rd and 24th avenues.
The left, eastbound lane will remain open, so no detours will be necessary. Some congestion may result, however, and motorists may want to seek alternate routes.
