VICKSBURG Services for Annie Louise Boswell Edney were to be held today at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Vicksburg with the Revs. Dr. Matt Buckles and Douglas Stone officiating. Graveside services and burial will be held today at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Meridian. Glenwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Edney, 80, of Vicksburg, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at Belmont Place Personal Care Home for Women.
Survivors include her children, Mary Ann Jackson of Vicksburg, Joseph Woods Edney of Greenville, Steve Edwin Edney of Athens, Ga. and Dr. Daniel P. Edney of Vicksburg; a sister, Joyce J. Posey of Shreveport, La.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilery Whitfield Edney of Meridian; her parents, Joseph Q. and Rose Nell Boswell of Shreveport; brothers, J.Q. Boswell and George Boswell and a sister, Fay C. Brown.

YORK, Ala. Services for Amy Vaughn Hatcher will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Buchanan officiating. Burial will be in York Cemetery.
Mrs. Hatcher, 91, of Cuba, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at Sumter Health and Rehab Center.
Survivors include her sons, David Hatcher and his wife, Pat, of Cuba and William "Bill" Hatcher and his wife, Diane, of Madison; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gatewood Hatcher.
Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Martha McArthur, 71, of Meridian, who died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home.
