UNION Graveside services for Bessie L. Crocker will be held today at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church cemetery with the Rev. Todd Thompson officiating. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Crocker, 84, of Newton, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at Woodlawn Court Personal Care in Newton.
Survivors include her son, Harold Crocker of Atlanta; a granddaughter, Eva Crocker of Sunnydale, Calf.; two great-grandchildren, Sara Dom and Anna Dom; nephews, R.L. "Shorty" Everett and his wife, Betty, of Decatur, Jimmy Rivers of Knoxville, Tenn., and Jimmy Grant of Michigan; and nieces, Bonnie McKinnion of Newton; Gloria Nell Duty of Phoenix, and Mary Ann Voorheis of Petosky, Mich.

SEBASTOPOL Services for Harvey Brooks Cox will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Milling Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Tullos officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Mr. Cox, 64, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at Adventist Health Center. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp., and was a retired salesman for Big Ten Tire Company.
Survivors include his sons, Bryan Cox and his wife, Michelle, of Lumberton, Chad Cox of Hattiesburg and Chris Cox of Florence; six grandchildren; three sisters, Josephine Tullos of Laurel, Katrina Massengale of Union and Diane Woods of Bryam; a brother, Terry Cox of Scottsday, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Jo Cox; his parents, Joseph Cox and Wilma Cox; a brother, James Cox; and a sister, Glenda Cox.
Pallbearers will be Clint Wright, Conald Rives, Lonnie Woods, Freddie Smith, John Pearson and J.C. Massengale.
Visitation will be held today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Ida Mae Stuart Scott will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Chuck Overby and Gerald Chaney officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Scott, 60, of Newton, died Friday, August 13, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughters, Rita Hill of Newton and Patti Howington and her husband, Charles, of Meridian; a son, Jerry Martin "Marty" Scott Jr. of Meridian; sisters, Louise Channey of Chunky, Bonnie Sharp and Grace Brunelle, both of Meridian, Peggy Johnson and Nancy Berry, both of San Diego, Sally Moore of Durham, N.C. and Rose Henley of Little Rock; brothers, Ben Stuart and Melton "Butch" Stuart, both of Meridian, Howard Stuart of Baton Rouge, La. and Roland Stuart of Durham, N.C.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Marie Daniel and a brother, James Stuart.
Pallbearers will be Craig Crouch, Louis Ross, Leon Ross, Ronald Powell, Billy Hastings and Billy Knight.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Mary E. Byrd will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mrs. Byrd, 88, of Meridian, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at Beverly Health Care. She was a beautician.
Survivors include her son, Charles Norman Byrd of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a daughter, Kathy Byrd Cornett and her husband, Lee, of Meridian; grandchildren, Kathy Byrd West of Columbus, Charlotte Galloway of Norman, Okla., Charles Norman Byrd Jr. of Pearl, Jason Sides of Ocean Springs, John Phillip Byrd of Pearl and Casey Lynn Sides of Meridian; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, O'dell Byrd.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Milford Ray Boler will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Al Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial cemetery.
Mr. Boler, 55, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his sons, Bobby Boler and his wife, Jessica, Joshua Boler, all of Meridian, and Tyrone Boler of Cincinnati; daughters, Regina Tims and her husband, Tracy, Ca'Landra Boler and Ra'Shandra Boler, all of Meridian; sisters, Delores Gardner of Lubbock, Texas, Aleen Tweede of Cincinnati, Michelle Boyd and Lillie Simmons, all of Meridian, Millie Armstrong and Joe Helen Boler, both of New Orleans and Mary Roberts of Houston, Texas; a brother, Joe Boler of Destraham, La.; and 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Boler, and four siblings.
Visitation will be held Monday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home for Willie Hart Jr., 76, of Meridian, who died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
