One-car accident claims life

A Lauderdale County man died in a one-car accident Monday on Bolen-Long Creek Road in the Vimville community off Highway 19 South.
Maj. Ward Calhoun of the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department said that officials believe Theodore J. Aniel III, 21, a Causeyville Road resident, died from injuries sustained during the accident.
Details remained sketchy, Calhoun said, but Aniel apparently lost control of his Mazda 626 and it slid backwards into a large tree. Calhoun said Aniel was not wearing a seat belt.
