Services for Walter Douglas "Fuzzy" Boyd will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Paul Earley and Tommy Jones officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Boyd, 74, of Meridian, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, in his home. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. He served in the Korean Conflict as a member of the 7th Infantry Division.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia "Pat" Harwell Boyd of Meridian; a son, Walter Douglas Boyd II of Meridian; a daughter, Donna Lynn McHan of Augusta, Ga.; grandchildren, Connie McHan and McKie Smith, both of Augusta; brothers, Creed Boyd of Houston, Texas and Travis Boyd of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Alice Marie Bielefeld and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Beriah M. Boyd.
Memorials may be made to Harper Hospice.
Pallbearers will be Keith Boyd, Chip Harwell, Steve Dennis, Shelby Smith, Keith Albanese and Larry Hensley.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Davis Sunday school class.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
BUTLER, Ala. Graveside services for Nancy Ann M. Shoemaker will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Butler City Cemetery. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Shoemaker, 66, of Butler, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, John Henry Shoemaker of Butler; daughters, Robin Jordan of Livingston, Gayle Turner of Wetumpka and Polly S. Thompson of Butler; and a sister, Dorothy Launius of Chicago and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for George Joel Bunyard will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Bunyard, 65, of Meridian, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, in Shreveport, La.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Robert S. Brown, 72, of Meridian, who died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
