Three new coaches ready to go at Southeast

The athletic department at Southeast Lauderdale went through some changes this offseason, but principal Billy Burnham feels the school is ready for a great year.
The Tigers will have new coaches in boys' basketball, football and baseball this season.
Ty Trahan was hired to coach football after the retirement of Dwane Taylor and should do well for Southeast this season. He will be assisted by Daryl Jones and Rodgers Rahiam.
Johnny Patrick will take over the Southeast boys' basketball program this season and should help make some improvements.
Chuck Butler will become the baseball coach and lead the Tigers in the spring. He will also be the athletic director for Southeast this year.
Joe Miller will continue to coach the powerful Southeast girls' basketball program and will also coach the golf team this year.
Ryan Miller will once again coach the Southeast slow-pitch softball team and will also coach the fast-pitch team.
Rodgers Rahiam will coach the soccer team for the Tigers this year.
Another sport will also be added to the Southeast athletic program this year. The Tigers will now compete in girls' and boys' cross country.
According to Burnham, the new popularity of the sport was one of the reasons for the addition.
Butler will lead the girls' cross country team this year, while Patrick works with the boys.
Overall, Burnham is pleased with the athletic department and the direction it is taking.
