Come on in

By Staff
Hannah Eubanks, left, tells some of her friends to join her in the pool as she holds her goggles, while another friend, Halie Fenley of Ripley, smiles for the camera. The girls were enjoying Eubanks' birthday party at Howard Johnson on Saturday. Eubanks is happy she is able to swim again, something she hasn't been able to do much of since she was diagnosed in October with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Her cancer is now in remission, but she travels to Memphis, Tenn., once a week with her mother, Nicole Kimbrell DuBose, for treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Eubanks and her family are leaving for Hawaii on Tuesday, a trip sponsored by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where Eubanks hopes to swim with the dolphins.
