July 10 The first Savell family reunion will be from 11 a.m.-until at the city park pavilion in Union. All descendants, relatives and friends of Carol and Ida Tucker Savell are invited to attend. July 10 The 1974 class reunion for Meridian High School will be at 7 p.m. at Briarwood Country Club. MHS class members would like to invite the classes of 1974 from Lamar, Whynot and Jeff Davis to the reunion. Cost is $35 a person. July 16-18 The descendants of Richard and Julie Shanks and the children of Ruby and Viola Edwards will hold a reunion at Archusa Water Park in Quitman.
