Jacquelyn Sweetner Caffey, left, of Meridian, talks to Clarice Thomas and Geraldine Evans, both of Cleveland, Ohio, on Thursday before the 12th Annual Awards Program of The National Council of Meridianites, Inc., at the Howard Johnson Motor Lodge. Caffey was the master of ceremonies for the evening. Thomas was presented with an award for her 50th wedding anniversary and Evans was a presenter for the city of Cleveland.
