Fellowship Baptist Church is collecting labels from Campbell products to buy equipment for the church. Labels from the following Campbell products are requested: soups, beans, Swanson broths, Pepperidge Farm products, Prego pasta sauces, V-8 Juice and Franco-American Spaghettios.

Vacation Bible School will be held through Friday at Oakland Heights United Methodist Church, 1103 Highway 19 N. Sessions are from 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m. and are open to ages 2 through adults. Dinner will be provided. "Hero Quest! Powered by Faith" is the theme. For more information, call 485-5262.

Coming up
An "In God We Trust" rally is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. June 26 at Sandtown United Methodist Church. Honorees will be the Rev. Don Wildmon, president of the American Family Association and American Family Radio; the local National Guard families of the 298th Corps Support Battalion; 367th Maintenance Company; and the family of Josh Ladd.
KEMPER COUNTY The Gospel Friends will be in concert June 26 at 7 p.m. at Vardaman Baptist Church, located off Highway 16, east of the Kemper/Neshoba county line.
Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church will host a "Celebration of Freedom and Life" through thoughts and songs on June 27, during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. The church's chancel and handbell choirs will be joined by guest instrumentalists.
PORTERVILLE Twilight Lodge No. 395A will sponsor a St. John Day Program June 27 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Kelvin Carter of Progress Lodge No. 246, Shubuta, and pastor of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, Meridian, and St. Peter United Methodist Church, Marion. Refreshments will be served.
LAUDERDALE First Baptist Church will honor its pastor, the Rev. Jerry Bishop, and his wife, Charlotte, with a reception from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. June 27 celebrating 40 years in the ministry. The church is at 3659 Lauderdale Road.
WARD, Ala. The Seven Seals Program will be at St. Matthew Baptist Church June 27 at 6 p.m.
HEIDELBERG Vacation Bible School is scheduled June 28-July 1 at Greater Beaver Meadow Missionary Baptist Church. Sessions are from 4:30- p.m.-6:30 p.m. "Team Jesus" is the theme.
Trinity Presbyterian Church will partner with First Presbyterian Church to provide a one-week vacation bible school for the Boys and Girls Club, June 28-July 2 at Trinity Presbyterian church, 4223 Poplar Springs Drive. Sessions are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m.
Community churches are asked to participate. Volunteers are needed to teach, coordinate activities, provide snacks and help with music. A "want list" will be available for supplies and snacks.
