Green, Rives

Mr. and Mrs. Willard Green of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Cristie Lee, to Justin Michael Rives, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Rives of Madison.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 19, 2004, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Meridian.
Miss Green is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Neal, the late Willard Brown Green, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Miller Deweese, all of Philadelphia.
The bride-elect is a 1999 highest honors graduate of Meridian High School. She received a degree in chemistry medical sciences and graduated in 2003 cum laude from Mississippi College. Miss Green is attending the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry.
While attending Mississippi College, Miss Green was the president of Omicron Delta Kappa, a secretary and formal/informal officer of Swannanoa Social Tribe, sports editor of the yearbook, Follies chairman, a member of the Homecoming Committee and a president's list scholar. She is secretary of her class at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry.
Mr. Rives is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilbanks of Corinth, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rives of Madison.
The bridegroom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Madison Central High School. He received a degree in art education in 2003 from Mississippi College.
While attending Mississippi College, he was the head photographer of the yearbook, a member of Shawreth Men's Club and a Dean's List scholar.
Mr. Rives is employed as an art teacher for Ridgeland High School where he teaches pottery.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
