Dearman, Powers

Lisa Den Powers of Meridian and William Daniel Dearman of Stonewall were married Saturday, May 1, 2004, at the home of B.J. and Tommy Landrum in Stonewall with the Rev. Joe Gullick officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Denman A. Powers Jr. of Gulfport, Louise F. Powers of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Dearman of Meridian and Jean Grant of Stonewall.
Grandparents of the bride are Louise Cooper Powers of Meridian and the late Denman A. Powers Sr.
The bridegroom is the grandson of Myrtle Howard of Quitman.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a full-length ivory dress with sequins. The bride carried a bouquet of fresh flowers arranged by the bridegroom's mother, Jean Grant.
Stephanie M. Powers, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor.
Shane White, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man.
A reception was held in the Landrum home following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Jean Grant, and B.J. and Tommy Landrum.
After a honeymoon cruise to Mexico, the couple resides in Stonewall, where the bridegroom is employed at H&R Block and is a self-employed contractor in Stonewall, and the bride is a medical transcriptionist at Rush Foundation Hospital.
