Trost, Lauderdale

Lt. Melissa Kay Lauderdale of Meridian and Lt. Daniel Thomas Trost of New Richmond, Wis., were married Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at Livingston United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Harrison officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Lauderdale of Meridian, and Mr. and Mr. Thomas Trost of New Richmond.
Grandparents of the bride are Truett McCarty of Moss and the late Elva McCarty, and the late Mr. and Mrs. G.L. Lauderdale of Madison.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Rosalys Weiler and the late Maurice Weiler, and Marjorie and Robert Speer and the late Harold Trost, all of Morris, Minn.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Barbara Neal, pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white crepe gown with a scalloped neckline and sheer off-the-shoulder straps. The gown was heavily embroidered and beaded and the skirt swept into a train.
Leigh Ann Smith of Meridian, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Brandon Smith of Meridian, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Brian Smith, brother of the bride.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Sue and Cynthia Lauderdale, aunts of the bride.
The bride and groom are both lieutenants in the U.S. Army and currently stationed in Fort Knox, Ky. The bridegroom is currently serving in Iraq.
