25th anniversary
Charlene and Johnny Speed celebrated their anniversary on May 3, 2004. They were married May 3, 1979, in Enterprise. They have three daughters, Lisa, Leslie and Ashley Speed. Mr. Speed owns S&S Mini-Mart in Enterprise and Mrs. Speed is a registered nurse at Rush Foundation Hospital.
90TH BIRTHDAY
Essie Stewart Donald of Meridian recently celebrated her 90th birthday at the home of her eldest son, Howard Lee Stewart of Stonewall. In attendance were some of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. Mrs. Donald is still an active member of West Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, where she sings in the senior choir. She considers herself very blessed to still be alive to see the fifth generation of her family.
