Hegeman, Knight

Jaime Marie Knight and Joseph Theodore Hegeman were married on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2003, at Red Bank Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tenn., with the Rev. Bill Hardy officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. James Knight of Tanner, Ala., and Dr. and Mrs. Theodore F. Hegeman of Indianapolis, Ind.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bishop and the late Maurice Knight and Mary Knight of Meridian.
Nuptial music was provided by Joan Marler of Chattanooga, Tenn., pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a designer gown with a lace beaded silk bodice and a multi-layered tulle skirt with beaded details. Her veil was of silk illusion and studded and edged in pearl and lace beading. She carried a bouquet of 23 red roses and the bridegroom wore the 24th on his lapel.
Wendy Whitaker of Fort Worth, Texas, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Other attendants were Kelly Knight, sister-in-law of the bride from Chattanooga; Mary Hegeman, sister of the bridegroom from Indianapolis; Emily Cavanaugh, sister of the bridegroom from Chicago; and Alisa Harrison, of Chattanooga.
Hannah Cavanaugh, niece of the bridegroom from Chicago, served as flower girl.
Mark Wilson, friend of the bridegroom of Indianapolis, served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Mike Cavanaugh, brother-in-law of the bridegroom from Chicago; Ted Hegeman, father of the bridegroom, from Indianapolis; Wayne Whitaker, brother-in-law of the bride from Fort Worth, Texas; and Jason Knight, brother of the bride, from Chattanooga.
A reception was held in the church dining hall following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon at Walt Disney World, the couple makes their home in Charlotte, N.C.
