Mother seeks answers about accident

Angela Bell hasn't talked to her daughter, heard her laugh or seen her smile in more than 21 days a long time for a mother and daughter who talked daily.
That's because Bell's daughter, Shandy Bell Hudson, 24, was killed in a traffic accident in Kemper County on April 7.
Bell said she believes a third vehicle may have been involved in what the Mississippi Highway Patrol has reported as a two-car accident in which Hudson lost control of her vehicle.
Bell said she believes a third vehicle could have made her daughter veer off the road. She said she knows her daughter's driving habits "and that's not like her to lose control (of her car) for no reason."
MHP officials could not be reached for comment Tuesday about their investigation.
Hudson worked as a dispatcher for the Kemper County Sheriff's Department for five months before she died. On Friday at 11 a.m., a renovated department dispatch office will be dedicated in her honor.
Kemper County Sheriff Sam Tisdale said Hudson had a captivating personality.
