Ohnemus, Porter

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ohnemus of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Calra May, to Lt. Paul Elliott Porter Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Porter Sr. of Bowling Green, Ky.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 12, 2004, at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Miss Ohnemus is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ohnemus of Milo, Iowa, and Mr. and Mrs. Marcelino de Vera of Santa Rita, Lubao, Pampanga, Philippines.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Lamar High School and received a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from the University of Mississippi.
While attending Ole Miss, she was president of the Student American Dental Hygiene Association and a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
Miss Ohnemus is a licensed dental hygienist and performs as a professional actress.
Porter is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ivey of New Bern, N.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Seth Porter of Greenville, N.C.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Greenwood High School of Bowling Green, Ky., and received a bachelor's degree in business administration in management and general business from the University of Mississippi.
While attending Ole Miss, he was a member of the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps and Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
Porter serves in the U.S. Navy as a naval aviator and is stationed at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Fla.
