UNION Services for James Author Reid will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in Evans Tabernacle Cemetery.
Mr. Reid, 76, of Union, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at Hilltop Manor Nursing Home in Union.
Survivors include his brothers, Wendell Reid of Forest and Travis Reid of Walnut Grove and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Pearlee Spivey will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Troy Roscoe officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery.
Mrs. Spivey, 89, of Meridian, died Friday, April 23, 2004, at Queen City Nursing Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Mollie Williamson of Camden; a sister, Allie M. Booth of Goodman; brothers, John Barnes of Lexington and James T. Barnes of Davenport; one god-son, Jeffrey Dubose of Meridian; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and six siblings.
Visitation will be Thursday 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for L.C. Dawson Jr. will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Zion Hill C.M.E. Cemetery in Sandflat.
Mr. Dawson, 61, of Meridian, died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Cammie B. Dawson of Meridian; sons, Sam Bell and Reginald Jones, both of Meridian, Harvey Jones of Mt. Dora, Fla.; daughters, Lisa Bell and Carolyn Lewis, both of Meridian and Shelia Macon of Toomsuba; sisters, Eartha Mae Dawson and Emma Jean Dawson, both of Meridian; brothers, Willie Joe Dawson, D.L. Humphrey, James Dawson and Robert Dawson, all of Meridian and 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L.C. and Cleo Dawson.
Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Williamson, 73, of Union, formerly of Washington, La., died Monday, April 26, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Williamson of Union; a daughter, Debra Lynn Kaufman of Crescent, Iowa; a son, Bill Allen Williamson of Maple Valley, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; a sister, Mildred Gruzenda of Pascagoula; a brother, Boyd Williamson of Union and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Colie Williamson; brothers, Kervis Williamson and Rodney Williamson and a sister, Merle Nunnery.
