Retired sheriff
Graveside services for Everette Keller will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. James A. Ruffin officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Keller, 75, of Meridian, died Sunday, April 18, 2004, in his home. He was a member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church. He was the first juvenile officer for the Meridian Police Department and retired from the department after more than 21 years as assistant police chief. He served three terms as sheriff of Lauderdale County. He was a aerial photographer in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel Keller of Meridian; a daughter, Fayne Walker of Prairieville, La.; grandchildren, Francie Hayes and her husband, Kris, of Meridian, Jayne Walker and Thomas Walker, both of Prairieville; a great-grandchild, Kristen Rachel Hayes of Meridian; a sister, Jewel O'Gwynn of Meridian; brothers, Harold Keller of Meridian and Robert Keller of Reno, Nev.
He was preceded in death by daughters, Cynthia Keller and Celia Keller Graydon.
Pallbearers will be Harold Keyes, Bobby Harrison, Harold Clark, Bill Ross, D.L. Woodard, John Anderson and Bobby House.
Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews, former deputies of the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department and members of the Meridian Police Department.
Visitation will be Tuesday 10:30 a.m. -11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Thelma Thompson Gullette will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Harrison officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Gullette, 96, of Meridian, died Sunday, April 18, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her sons, H.D. "Pap" Gullette and his wife, Nita, of Monroe, La., and Louis R. Gullette Sr. and his wife, Joan, of Meridian; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse D. Gullette; and a son, Jesse V. Gullette.
Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church or a charity of choice.
Retired postal service clerk
MACON Services for Oscar Lindley will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church near Macon, with the Revs. James Snowden and Dr. Lowell Ingram officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Cockrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lindley, 77, of Macon, died Saturday, April 17, 2004, at Noxubee General Hospital in Macon. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Military Police and served in occupied Japan at the end of World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Edith P. Lindley of Macon; a son, Gene Lindley and his wife, Brenda, of Picayune; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home of DeKalb for Jerry Hoyt, 72, of DeKalb, who died Sunday, April 18, 2004, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian.
