Mathis, Miller

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mathis of Poplarville announce the engagement of their daughter, Hollie Jo, to Owen Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Miller of Gulfport.
The ceremony will take place at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Gulfport on Saturday, May 15, 2004, at 6:30 p.m.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert P. Roberts of Russell and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Mathis of Meridian.
Miss Mathis received degrees from Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi School of Law. She is an attorney with the law firm Baker Botts L.L.P. in Washington, D.C.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Martin of Booneville, and Syble Miller and the late Rev. Wilson Miller of Gulfport.
Mr. Miller received a degree from Mississippi College and is associate head men's basketball coach at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
A reception will follow the ceremony at Casino Magic Biloxi.
