Services for Mary Ellen Clark will be held today at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Kevin Jones officiating.
Mrs. Clark, of Amherst, N.Y., died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, in Cartersville, Ga. She was a member of State Boulevard Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Kovacs from Amherst, N.Y. and Joanie Burzykynski of Adairsville, Ga.; brothers, J.C. Agent, Lavon Agent and Grady Agent; sisters, Adele Adcock and Jean Thrasher; two granddaughters, Cathy Rondinelli and her husband, Frank, Cynthia Ford; great-grandchildren, Michael Rondinelli, Lauren Ford and Samuel Ford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammie Eleby Clark.
UNION Services for Ruth Harrison will be held today at 11 a.m. at Smyrna Baptist Church in Union with the Rev. Bobby Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Union City Cemetery of Union with Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Harrison, 75, of Hebron, Ind., formerly of Union, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at St. Anthony's Catholic Hospital.
Survivors include her son, Larry Harrison of St. John,Ind.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Harrison, and her son, Gary Harrison.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

PHILADELPHIA Graveside services for Kenneth May will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Coldwater Cemetery in Philadelphia. McClain-Hays Funeral Service Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. May, 73, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at Neshoba County Nursing Home in Philadelphia.
Survivors include his step-daughter, Ginger Zehnle of Philadelphia; and two step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Mevelyn Ross will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Danny Chisholm officiating. Burial will be in Long Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Ross, 71, of Meridian, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at her home. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Sherry Truesdale and her husband, Sonny, of Albany, Ga.; and Dena Patterson and her husband, Joey, of Meridian; her son, Jimmy Ross and his wife, Donna, of Birmingham; and grandchildren, Zach and Adam Truesdale, Jim and Brittany Ross, and Trent and Meg Patterson.
Pallbearers will be Bob Raley, Leon Ross, Louis Ross, Scott Ross, Ernie Ross, Craig Ross and Tim McMullen. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

DEKALB Services for Catherine R. Davis will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel with the Rev. M.L. Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Toomsuba.
Ms. Davis, 56, of Meridian, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her two sons, Michael Davis and his wife, Melody, of Fort Braggs, N.C.; and Tony W. Davis and his wife, LaTonia, of Hinesville, Ga.; six grandchildren, a sister, Mary L. Young of Meridian; and several relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Visitation will be today from 7 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Retired mechanic
PHILADELPHIA Services for Harold Whitley will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Paul Leber and T.M. Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Whitley, 75, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at Riley Hospital. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Whitley of Philadelphia; sons, William "Chip" Whitley of Philadelphia and Robert "Bobby" Whitley of Brandon; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Elene Grissett of Glen Allan; brothers, Bruce Whitley of Camden, Tenn., Ray Whitley of Belleville, Mich. and John Whitley of Westland, Mich.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
SEBASTOPOL Services for Irvin James Jefferson will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church of the Standing Pine community with the Rev. Emmett Denson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jefferson, 14, of the Standing Pine Community, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at University Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include his parents, Agnes York and Randy York, both of Walnut Grove; sisters, Vera Steve and Lillie Steve, both of Philadelphia and Lamonica York of Walnut Grove; brothers, Warren York, Melton York, Randy Reynolds York, and Justin Wallace, all of Walnut Grove, and Ryan York of Carthage.
He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Emma Rue Jefferson and a brother Reginald York.
Visitation will be today beginning at 10 a.m. at the family home.
Retired teacher
YORK, Ala. Graveside services for Eleanor Phillips will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Myrtlewood Cemetery in Livingston with the Rev. Tim Meadows officiating. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Phillips, 93, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her nephew, Bobby Sullivan of Millerville and a niece, Mary Alice Browder of Greensboro, S.C.

YORK, Ala. Cremation arrangements for William E. "Cod" Carroll are being handled by Bumpers Funeral Home.
Mr. Carroll, 80, of Forkland, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, in his home.
Survivors include his sons, Johnnie Carroll and Mark Carroll, both of Demopolis and Darrel Carroll of Santa Barbara, Calif.; daughters, Sandra Pulling of Atlanta, Laura Holmes of Paris, Ark. and Amber Hurt of Demopolis; a brother, Ronald S. Carroll of Louisiana and 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home for Katie Mae Oliver, 75, of Meridian, who died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
