50th anniversary
Sara and Gene Fisher will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church on Zero Road, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. on Nov. 29, 2003. The Fishers were married Dec. 25, 1953. They have two children, Gena Chancelor and her husband, Clay, and Robert Fisher and his wife, Janice; and three grandchildren, Lyndsey, Emily and Taylor.
50th anniversary
Elizabeth and Morris Nicholson recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. They were married on Nov. 15, 1953. The couple has one daughter, Dianne Cochran and her husband, Samuel, of Terry; and two grandsons, David and Joshua.
