Pet adoptions today at the mall

Adoptable puppies and kittens will be on display and available for adoption from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of J.C. Penney.
Volunteers expect to have as many as 20 puppies and kittens available for adoption, many of which have already been spayed or neutered.
Lee encourages anyone who may be interested in an animal to come to the mall Saturday and help the Humane Society. She warns, however, that no one should make a rushed decision about adopting a pet.
Lee stresses that unwanted pets are not to be dropped off at the mall.
