Meridian police look for several robbery suspects

Meridian police are searching for suspects in recent robberies.
In one case that happened Thursday at about 6:30 p.m., a woman was robbed by two black men in the 600 block of 45th Avenue.
Detective Dean Harper of the Meridian Police Department said police are following leads in the case. He said the men robbed the woman after hitting her with their fists.
In a second case, he said, two suspects are being sought in the 1:30 p.m. Sunday armed robbery of a pizza delivery woman at Willow Bend Apartments,
Harper said a black man and woman are being sought. He said the delivery woman was robbed at gunpoint and the suspects fled the area. The victim was unharmed.
In a third case, he said, a man is being sought in a strong-armed robbery that happened at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Big K Food Store at 1408 Roebuck Drive.
The suspect is described as a skinny black male, about 6 feet, 4 inches tall.
Harper said the suspect robbed the clerk by force and fled with another black male in a blue, older model compact car, possibly a Toyota Camry. The clerk was unharmed.
