Second floor fire damages Mark apartments

A second floor fire at the Mark Apartments at 3315 North Hills Street began on a patio and spread to an inside apartment, according to Battalion Chief Anthony Clayton of the Meridian Fire Department.
Clayton said the fire began about 1:30 p.m. Friday and second floor apartments sustained heavy damage. The Meridian Fire Department contained the fire in about 30 minutes. The fire is still under investigation and no injures were reported.
