Services for Elner Williams will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew Methodist Church in Bailey. Burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Williams, 94, of Bailey, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003, at Riley Nursing Center.
Survivors include three daughters, Florence Temple of New York; Hattie Williams of Chicago; and Betty Gerry of Detroit; nine sons, John Williams, James Williams, Billy Williams, Ronald Williams, Wardell Williams, all of Chicago; Ray Williams of New York; Charles Williams of South Holland, Ill.; Melvin Williams of Meridian; and Algie Williams of Matteson, Ill.; one brother, Simpson Wilson of Cleveland, Ohio; 29 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

LOUISVILLE Services for Johnny Travis Hill will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Louisville First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with Nowell-Tilghman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hill, 86, of Louisville, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at the Winston Medical Center in Louisville. Mr. Hill was born June 17, 1917, in Winston County to the late Roger and Willie Stevens Hill. He was educated in the Ellison Ridge School system and graduated from East Central Community College.
Mr. Hill joined the Army in World War II and served as a Sergeant in the 904th Infantry, a part of the 79th Division in the European theater. After the war, Mr. Hill was employed by the D.L. Fair Lumber Company and later the Georgia Pacific Company in the forestry procurement division, where he retired.
Mr. Hill was a longtime member of the Louisville First United Methodist Church, having served as Sunday School Superintendent, Administrative Board member and twice a member of the building committee. He was an officer in the Winston County Christian Friends, and chairman of the Louisville-Winston County Chamber of Commerce Forestry Committee. He was a member of the Mississippi Manufacturers Association, the legislative committee of the Mississippi AARP and past president of the Woodman of the World Jurisdiction of Mississippi.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Frances Young Hill of Louisville; one daughter, Lea-Ann Denton and her husband, W.J. "Bo," and three granddaughters, Natalie, Jessica and Madelyn, all of Meridian; nieces, Frances Hill Gregory and her husband, Gale, of Louisville; and Katherine Hill Moore and her husband, Elmer Lee, of Damascus.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Embry Hill of Louisville.

DEKALB Services for Helen McDade will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Stephens DeKalb Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Read officiating. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Miss McDade, 85, of DeKalb, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, at her home in DeKalb. She was an attorney for 53 years with McDade Law Firm. She served 12 years as a state representative in Jackson and was a member of DeKalb Baptist Church. She was also a member of Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include great nieces, Terri Branning, Melissa Carter, Sharon Bryan and Carolyn Lumus; great-great-nephews, Trey Henderson, Kirk Sanders, Jarrod Bryan, Matthew Bryan and Joshua Lumus; great-great-nieces, Carmen Henderson, Shay Bryan and Celeste; great-great-great nieces, Triniti Sudsberry, Eve Henderson and Tori Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her great-great-nephew, Brooke Henderson.
Visitation will be today from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Johnny Hearn, 63, of Meridian, who died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, at his home.
