    Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Murray Hailey Sr. of Preston.
    Mrs. Tarlton is the former Janie Faye Hailey of Preston.
    Melanie Sharp of Meridian announces the birth of a son, Dakota Robert, on Sept. 4, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Maternal grandparent is Elaine Randall of Meridian.
    Josh and Mandy Rutledge of Meridian announce the birth of a son, Zachary Paul, on Sept. 23, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Jennifer and Mike Bush, and Paul Rutledge.
    Maternal grandparents are Martha and Donald Shirley.
    Mrs. Rutledge is the former Mandy Shirley.
    West and Crystal Moore of Quitman announce the birth of a daughter, Jalyn Marae, on Sept. 25, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

    Maternal grandparents are Mike and Denise Ladd of Philadelphia.
    Mrs. Betts is the former Jennifer Williams.
    Wright and Leslie Griffis of Philadelphia announce the birth of a daughter, Maggie Lee, on Sept. 26, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Tim and Susie Corbett, and Bill and Linda Corbett.
    Maternal grandparents are David and Priscilla Sanders.
    Mrs. Griffis is the former Leslie Sanders.

    Paternal grandparents are Barry and Gayle Bufkin of Newton.
    Maternal grandparents are Rafe and Vicki Jones of DeKalb, and Candi Barr of Cuba, Ala.
    Mrs. Bufkin is the former Shanna Jones.
    Romona Dubose and Jasmine Smith of Shubuta announce the birth of a son, Quendarius Marquise Smith, on Sept. 28, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
