50th anniversary
Carl and Katherine Curtis recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. On Sept. 19, 1953, 30 days after they met in Cook County, Ill., they were married and later moved to Little Rock. They have three children, Marie McMahan of Union, Teresa Singleton of Decatur and Carl Junior of Little Rock; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Curtis is the former Katherine Moore.
