Saturday's MACJC South Division football game between East Central Community College and Gulf Coast Community College offers an interesting matchup in that each team's weakness will be paired with the other's weakness.
Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. in Perkinston.
ECCC, which fell to 0-1 in the division and 1-2 overall with last week's 35-6 loss to Pearl River in Decatur, ranks last in the state in total defense, allowing 424.3 yards per game.
Gulf Coast, which comes into the fray with records identical to the Warriors, lost 28-23 to Copiah-Lincoln last week. The Bulldogs are last in the state in total offense, averaging only 162.3 yards per game.
Conversely, ECCC's offense ranks fifth, while Gulf Coast's defense is fourth.
ECCC's Terrell Robinson is 25-of-53 passing for 303 yards with four interceptions. Bannister is just 9-of-35 for 123 yards for the Bulldogs.
Titus Ryan has 15 receptions for 194 yards for the Warriors. Germaine Smith has rushed 41 times for 231 yards. Kenshay Hunter has 170 yards on 40 carries.
Gulf Coast's Jordan leads the state in kickoff returns with three for 148 yards, including a 92-yarder for a touchdown. Woods leads the state in punt returns with a 16.3 yard average in seven attempts.
ECCC's Sed Eichelberger is among the state's leaders in tackles with 32, 25 of which are solos. Teammate Chunkgil Page has 28, 23 of which are solos.
The Warriors enter the make-or-break game with a two-game losing streak.
