Curry, Brown

Mattie C. Gordon and Larry Cole of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, LaTisha Cantreal Curry, to Jerome Shanta Brown, son of Marzella Brown of Meridian and the late Charles Meredith.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at 4 p.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church.
Miss Curry is the granddaughter of Mildred Sanford and the late Louis Mesley Sr.; Stoven Cole of Meridian and the late Johnnie Mae Cole.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and attended East Mississippi Community College, receiving a degree in cosmetology.
Miss Curry is employed by Advanced Finance.
Mr. Brown is the grandson of Arvella Murrell and George Townsend, and the late Ollie and Oseola Meredith.
He is employed by Meridian Public Schools.
A reception will be held at Velma Young Teen Center. Family and friends are invited to attend.
