Branton, Murray

Margaret Ann McCoy of Meridian and Julian Wayne Branton of Memphis, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Carol Branton, to Justin David Murray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Linval David Murray of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at 4 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church in Meridian.
Miss Branton is the granddaughter of Eudora Bates and the late Jack Bryce Bates and the late Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Earl Branton, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and Meridian Community College.
She is employed by Rush Foundation Hospital as a registered nurse in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit.
Mr. Murray is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roger Bryan Shows, and the late Clara Merle Murray and Emmett Horace Murray, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and attended Meridian Community College. He is employed by Southern Business Machines.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
