Harris, Dufour

Laura Dufour of Madison and Parker Harris of Meridian were married Saturday, June 21, 2003, at First Baptist Church in Madison with the Rev. Jeff James officiating.
Parents of the couple are Scott and Kay Dufour of Madison, and Lee and Debbie Harris of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Dufour, Mr. and Mrs. Gavin Herrington, and the late Henry S. Allen.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Parker, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert O. Harris.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Bobbie Butler, organist; Susan Wilson, pianist; Shannon Eubanks, vocalist; and a prerecorded song by the bride.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white strapless satin gown featuring a bodice of peals and beadwork. The skirt had a peek-a-boo hemline with lace detailed in pearls and beadwork. The back of the gown was accented by satin covered buttons and the skirt fell into a chapel-length train. Her waist-length veil and was anchored by a headband detailed with pearls and iridescent stones.
Nikki Rainey of Meridian served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Bonnie Brugmann of Starkville, Allison Dufour of Madison, Shannon Eubanks of Meridian, Anna Holly of Birmingham, Ala., and Courtney Shires of Madison.
Claire Kennesson of Woodville, Texas, was flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Neil Davis of Jackson, Eric Durham of Kosciusko, Bo Harris of Starkville, Randy Palmer of Madison and Jamie Taylor of Meridian. Ushers were members of the bridegroom's senior baseball team.
Program attendants were Sydney James, Hannah Huddleston and Reagan Darnell.
A reception was held at The Hilton in Jackson following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception was Anna Dufour.
After a honeymoon in Orange Beach, Ala., the couple resides in Greenville.
