Graveside services for Christopher Austin Waller will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Hester Cemetery in Neshoba County with the Rev. Bob Null officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Christopher, 3, of Meridian, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, in Greenville.
Survivors include his parents, Darrell Waller and Pam Grissom, both of Meridian; a sister, Destiny Waller of Meridian; and his grandparents, Jim and Peggy Robinson of Chunky, Robert Grissom of Union, and Gearldine Grissom of Meridian.
The family requests memorials be made to the Mississippi Burn Center in Greenville.
Visitation will be held today 30 minutes prior to the service at the cemetery.
Services for Annie Laura Smith will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with a Salvation Army chaplain officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Bonita.
Mrs. Smith, 104, of DeKalb, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at Mississippi Care Center in DeKalb. She was a member of Wesley Methodist Church, Salvation Army and the Home League.
Survivors include two daughters, Lanelle Graves of Fontana, Calif., and Jane Gardner of Elmonta, Calif.; a son, Dr. Jim Smith of DeKalb; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawson Smith; two sons, Leon and John Sullivan; a daughter, Mary Burns; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday from 10 am. until service time at the funeral home.
BUTLER, Ala. Private memorial services for Claire Strain O'Neal will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Williams officiating.
Mrs. O'Neal, 89, of Lisman, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, in Lisman.
Survivors include her sons, Robert H. O'Neal and Gordon K. O'Neal, both of Lisman, and Stephen F. O'Neal of Columbus, Ga.; a daughter, Carolyn F. O'Neal of Montgomery; a brother, Ben Kelly Strain of Brewton; four grandchildren, Kelly O'Neal, Katherine O'Neal, Laura Richardson and David Jenkins; and a great-grandchild, Hallie Richardson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Choctaw County Library, to a hospice unit, or to the American Cancer Society.
Services for Leonard Jones will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Union Baptist Church in Heidelberg with the Revs. Marnat Nash and Odell Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Union Baptist Cemetery. Berry &Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jones, 74, of Meridian, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Hopkins and her husband, the Rev. Odell Hopkins; a son, Jeffrey Jones and his wife, Jean, all of Meridian; three sisters, Lacy Jones and Laura A. McCurdy, both of Heidelberg and Emma McCullum, of Joliet, Ill.; three brothers, Sharbor Jones and Joe Jones, both of Heidelberg and Rufus Jones of Joliet; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday at the church, one hour prior to the service.
Graveside services for Cecil Dairl Stark will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wallace Lucky officiating. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery.
Mr. Stark, 69, of Meridian, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, in Meridian.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home for infant, Devonte Laneigal Cole of Meridian, who died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
DeKALB Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home for Lettier McWilliams, 58, of Jackson, who died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home for infant, Janessa Leigh Spears, 7-days-old, of Jackson, who died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at River Oaks Hospital in Jackson.
