Aug. 8-10 The family members of Archie and Annie Anderson will host an Anderson Family Reunion in St. Louis. The reunion host is Jo Ann Hattix, the oldest granddaughter of Albert Henry Anderson (Racine, Wis). Her mother, Nettie B. (Anderson) Hunter is the daughter of Albert Anderson. Aug. 9 All descendants or relatives of Amos Smith or Eldridge Williamson Henley, who settled in the Una community area of Clay County in the early 1800s, are invited to invited to attend a reunion beginning at 11 a.m. in the assembly room of the air conditioned "Old School House" at the Una Community Center. Aug. 23 West Lauderdale Class of 1993 will hold its 10-year reunion at Briarwood Country Club. The reunion will be from 7 p.m.-midnight. Aug. 30 Newton County High School Class of 1993 has planned its reunion. The informal event will be from 9 a.m. to noon at Turkey Creek in Decatur. Then the same from 6:30 p.m.-until will be a semi-formal dinner with entertainment at Montana's in Meridian. We are still missing some classmates.
