Hodges, Pate

Greg and Joy Hodges of Pensacola, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Tabitha Halli, to Michael Andrew Pate, son of Larry and Judy Pate of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003, at 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Pensacola.
Miss Hodges is the granddaughter of Edwin and Elaine Shumate, Martha Talbert and Wylie Hodges, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Washington High School and attends Mississippi State University. She will receive her bachelor's degree in human sciences in August 2004.
While attending MSU, she is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Kappa Omicron Nu, Alpha Theta Chi, Child Life Council and the Women's Club Soccer.
Miss Hodges is a fitness trainer with Joe Frank Sanderson Center.
Mr. Pate is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Beech, and the late Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Pate, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and received his bachelor's degree in psychology from Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key National Honor Society and Psi Chi.
Mr. Pate is employed by Mississippi State University Psychology Department.
A reception will be held at Seville Quarter Heritage Hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
