Mystics conjure up win

The third time proved to be the charm for the South Madison Mystics.
The Mystics struck gold defeating the Southern Mississippi Soccer Club (SMSC) United 1-0 in the under-8 girls' gold-medal game Sunday at the Jaycee Soccer Complex.
Mystics forward Marion Crowder scored the lone goal in the first quarter.
In the bronze medal contest, LYCSA and South Madison Magic battled to a scoreless tie. The standoff resulted in both teams earning medals.

Northeast Jackson 0
Ocean Spring Soccer Organization (OSSO) got goals from Chino Gonzalez and Justin Broussard in the second five-minute overtime period to claim the gold medal in the U8 boys' division over Northeast Jackson Soccer Organization (NEJSO).
