Two charged in church burglaries expected to appear in court

Newton County Sheriff Jackie Knight said two people charged with burglary of a church are expected to appear before a justice court judge today for a bond hearing.
Wesley Gilbert, 31, of Alabama, and Tina Roberts, 30, of Florida, were arrested Sunday in Newton County and charged with four counts of burglary of a church in Newton County.
Knight said the two are set to appear before a Newton County circuit court judge on July 28.
