Poole, Vaughan

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Knox Poole of Emelle, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Leigh, to Casey Eugene Vaughan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Christopher Vaughan of Cuba, Ala.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 14, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. at the home of the bride.
Miss Poole is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Poole of Emelle, Ala., and Ann Pierson of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and the late J.D. Pierson of Livingston.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Sumter Academy and received an associate's degree in health information technology with honors from Meridian Community College.
While attending MCC, she was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa society, the Health Occupation Students of America and the Health Information Technology Association.
Miss Poole is employed by Riley Hospital.
Mr. Vaughan is the grandson of Tot Vaughan of Cuba, Ala., and the late Mrs. Margaret Vaughan and Mrs. Virginia Wright of Toomsuba and the late Harold Wright of Toomsuba.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Sumter Academy and a summa cum laude graduate of the University of West Alabama, where he received a bachelor's degree in history. He plans to attend the Mississippi College School of Law in the fall.
While attending UWA, he was a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Alpha Theta, Phi Kappa Phi, Omicron Delta Kappa and Cardinal Key.
Mr. Vaughan is employed by El Paso Gas Co.
A reception will be held at the home of the bride following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
