55th anniversary

Andrew and Betty White Jr. celebrated their 55th anniversary on May 1, 2003. They were married on May 1, 1948 in Meridian. They have three daughters, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
50th anniversary
R.S. and Freda Laird will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 10, 2003, with a reception from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge in Little Rock. The couple were married May 2, 1953, by the late Rev. Cecil Laird. They have three children and five grandchildren. Mrs. Laird is the former Alfreda Gibbon. The couple requests no gifts.
