    Retired Air National Guard
    Services for Ross O. Boykin were held Friday at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Byrd Hillman officiating. Burial was in Pine Forest Cemetery.
    Mr. Boykin, 79, of Clinton, died Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. He was a member of First Methodist Church of Clinton.
    Survivors include his sons, Charles E. Boykin and his wife, Gene, of Brandon and Johnathon "Jody" Boykin and his wife, Bridgett, of Clinton; and three grandchildren, Amanda, Emily and Zachery Boykin of Brandon.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Boykin.
    Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the Leukemia Foundation.
    FOREST Services for Judson Boyd will be held today at 2 p.m. at Sand Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Young officiating. Burial will be in Sand Ridge Cemetery in Lawrence. Holifield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Boyd, 45, of Meridian, died Sunday, April 27, 2003, in Newton.
    Survivors include his children, DeYantha Curry, De'Neitha Boyd, Kwanzina Hayes and Clarissa Lockheart; and one grandchild; his mother, Mary Moncrief Boyd; his father and step-mother, Howard and Florence Harris; sisters, Brenda Spivey, Mary "Sally" Chaney and her husband, Harold, Alfreda Hadley and her husband, Barry, Frances Pace, Jean Jones and her husband, Terrell, Dorothy Harris, Carleen Evans and Walterene Johnson; step-sisters, Clara Patrick, Pearlie Evans, Grace Lang and Linda Body; step-brothers, Lee Earl Body, Henry Body, Harold Hardy, and Willie Lockheart; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, a sister, Bessie Body; brothers, Bobby "Doug" Body and Gary Body and his step-father, Fred Body.

    PHILADELPHIA Services for James Edward Stovall will be held today at 3 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church. Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery in Philadelphia. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Stovall, 68, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, May 1, 2003, at Alliance-Laird Hospital in Union. He was a retired kiln supervisor for Weyerhaeuser and Louisiana-Pacific.
    Survivors include his wife, Willie B. Rodgers Stovall of Philadelphia; a daughter, Margie Stovall Mason of Denham Springs, La.; sons, James Michael Stovall and Edward L. "Toby" Stovall, both of Philadelphia; four grandchildren; sisters, Faye Wright of Louisville and Sally Smith of Amite, La.; brothers, Bennie Stovall, Homer Stovall and Prentice Stovall, all of Philadelphia and Joe Stovall of DeKalb.
    Retired pulp wood hauler
    Graveside services for Carl M. White will be held today at 3 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Ferguson officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. White, 79, of Chunky, died Friday, May 2, 2003, at Laird Hospital in Union. He was a veteran of U.S. Army and served in World War II.
    Survivors include his sister, Bonnie White; a daughter, Mary Hodges; granddaughter, Breanna Hodges, all of Chunky and several nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.

    PHILADELPHIA Services for Wilma Pilgrim will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. at McLain-Hays Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Bennie Robertson officiating. Burial will be in McClain Chapel Cemetery in Philadelphia.
    Mrs. Pilgrim, 76, of DeKalb, died Friday, May 2, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include her daughters, Rachel Eakes, Juanita Knight and Pauline Williams, all of DeKalb and Mildred Miles of Philadelphia; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lola Gibson and Ola Mae Holmes, both of Rolling Fork, Pat Chipmon of Rushton, La., and Jean McKee of Detroit; and a brother, Jim Billings of Morton.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Pilgrim and a daughter, Mary Ann Barham.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    VERONA Services for Bernice Lorine Harrison Jones will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ron Harrison and Forrest Sheffield officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
    Mrs. Jones, 89, of Tupelo, formerly of Little Rock, died Friday, May 2, 2003, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
    Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Martin Ezra "M.E." Jones of Tupelo; a son, Keith Jones and his wife, Libby, of Tupelo; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Harrison of Little Rock and Buford Harrison of Meridian.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother.
    Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
    Homemaker
    BILOXI Services for Oundrea D. Hershberger will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
    Mrs. Hershberger, 59, of Biloxi, formerly of Meridian, died Thursday, May 1, 2003, in Biloxi.
    Survivors include her husband, Basil Hershberger; a son, Ray D. Hershberger; and two daughters, Robin D. Williams and Renita D. Coleman, all of Biloxi; her mother, Bertha Mae Caraway and her stepfather, James Caraway; and two brothers, Donnie Rawson and Robert Rawson, all of Meridian; and two grandchildren.
    Memorials may be made to Emanuel Baptist Church, 341 Rodenburg Ave., Biloxi, MS 39531.
    Visitation will be Sunday from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
    She was preceded in death by her father and brother.
