THE KING'S BIRTHDAY Randy Waldo, as Elvis, speaks with Beth Goodman, right, and Ed Crampton at Silverleaf Manor. Silverleaf Manor celebrated Elvis' birthday Wednesday with a root beer social. Waldo has an Elvis connection. He worked at Sun Studio in Memphis, where Elvis recorded, from 1987-93. He was a tour guide during the day and worked in the recording studio at night. Waldo worked with Jerry Lee Lewis, U2 and members of Elvis' band. He will return to Silverleaf Manor to sing on January 30.
